Mark Young Construction, Inc. views the safety on our jobsites as our number one priority. We know the work we perform and deliver can only be done by our employees and subcontractors. Our management team has committed the necessary resources to make sure our safety program is one of the best in our industry. We are now pursuing the OSHA VPP Mobile Workforce Demonstration for Construction honor which is awarded by OSHA. There are only about 1,389 of more than seven million sites that OSHA monitors that have achieved VPP recognition, even less in the Mobile Workforce Division. This recognition is given only to worksites/companies that go above and beyond what OSHA asks for in order to keep their employees, Subcontractors, Owners and other visitors safe. An OSHA team will evaluate our corporate office as well as some of our job sites and evaluate MYC for management leadership, employee involvement, work site analysis, training and hazard prevention and control. We believe we have all of these components in place. We will keep you updated on our status. |
