The North Metro Fire Rescue District Administration Building is a new 35,758 SF, two-story office building with a LEED Silver certification. This building houses the administrative staff for the North Metro Fire Rescue District and won an Award of Merit in Green Building by ENR Mountain States. A few of the sustainability and unique elements include: underground parking capacity, protection and restoration of the habitat, light pollution reduction, water efficient landscaping: reduce by 50%, innovative wastewater technologies, water use reduction: reduce by 30%, fundamental refrigerant management, optimize energy performance, on-site renewable energy, green power, storage and collection of recyclables, construction waste management, and divert 50% from disposal. Additionally, photovoltaic panels were installed on the roof making energy for hot water and electricity. This renewable energy source offsets 5.62% of energy costs. 

Adams County Assessor’s Office Remodel consisted of removal of the existing offices they were using and providing new layout that made them capable of adding more office spaces. We reused their existing doors, frames, and glass in the construction of the new offices. We revised the HVAC grill and returns, placed new lighting, new carpet, and new ceilings. Fire sprinkler and fire alarm were modified to accommodate the new layout. This work was on the second floor of a building being used by the owner where they occupied and worked in spaces directly next to our construction area. We had to safely use common hallway and exits to bring our material in and debris out. There were high end finishes in the elevators and the corridors that MYC made sure were protected. We performed the work in four weeks’ time on an accelerated schedule to minimize the impact on the owner. 

This new 18,000 SF office/warehouse building became the new corporate headquarters for Mark Young Construction. Work included site work, paving and landscaping, building core and shell, and tenant finish.

This beautiful 40,000 SF office building is anchored by ReMax. This was a negotiated CM/GC project in which MYC was selected at the conceptual design phase of the project and worked with the owner and architect in a design assist capacity. Work included site work, paving, landscaping, and building core and shell with subsequent tenant finish work for ReMax office suites and retail clients leasing space on the first level.
