MYC is proud to have been nominated as an award finalist for the American Subcontractors Association Construction Industry for General Contractor of the Year in the Over $100M Category in Colorado.
Along with this award, some of our talented team members were also nominated for awards including:
* Project Manager of the Year Award Finalist - Derek Ingham
* Women of Construction Legacy Award Finalist - Kristen Oskarson
* Women of Construction Up and Coming Award Finalist - Kimberly Wybenga

MYC began working on the Silverstone Marketplace project in Frederick in January 2024. We are working closely with Evergreen, who is developing roughly 61 acres of land at the northwest corner of Highway 52 and Colorado Boulevard. The development will be anchored by King Soopers #154, along with two multi-tenant retail buildings and eight outer lot retail pads. Current work includes a new collector street along the north side of the project, street improvements along Colorado Boulevard including a new roundabout, and widening along eastbound and westbound Highway 52. MYC also won the King Soopers new build and once the site is ready, we will work on the 123,000 SF building which will not only be the first grocery store in the Town of Frederick, but also the largest grocery store in the Carbon Valley, creating approximately 300 employment opportunities.

MYC is honored to have been selected as the CM/GC to work closely with the City and County of Denver and Oz Architecture for the new Denver Fire Station 40. The new fire station will be at 56th avenue and Telluride Street and will improve response times for this rapidly growing area. MYC was also selected as the CM/GC to rebuild Aurora Fire Station #9. We look forward to building a safer and more comfortable station for these deserving firefighters.

MYC broke ground on the Boulder Fire Station #3 and Administration Building on November 10th. The new 28,370 SF, two-story fire station will include apparatus bays, bunk rooms, community room, decontamination areas, locker rooms, storage, kitchen, roof top garden, and administration areas with offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, and mixed-use work areas.
